Each of our four-bedroom apartments are allocated on a first come, first served basis.

Should you request any other applicants to stay with you in the same apartment, then their names need to be stated. Random allocations occur for any empty rooms.

We do have a policy for allocating students for the same gender or nationality together unless requested otherwise, though don’t fret, as once the application for a booking has been made, we will be in contact with you to guide you this allocation.

We are very open to helping you as best we can with any requests you may have regarding this.

Upon arrival, our students will be greeted by a member of staff who will provide them with an arrival letter and a set of keys to their room. They will then proceed to show the student into the room and provide a run through of different facilities we have on site (laundry room, Bin Areas, etc).

If a student has someone coming to visit and that person needs to stay overnight, a camp bed can be provided for a €15.00 fee. Please contact the office to avail of this option.

A booking deposit of €350.00 is required to apply to stay in Tralee Town Centre Apartments. The first €200.00 of the booking deposit above covers possible damage to the apartment and is fully refundable once the apartment is found to be in the same order as it was when first occupied. The remaining €150.00 is an ESB deposit which is also fully refundable when all ESB charges have been paid in full.

The Deposit is fully returned at the end of your stay once all tenant obligations have been fulfilled, i.e., all bills are paid, and the apartment has been returned in a satisfactory condition.

The deposit is returned in cash upon day of departure. We will conduct an apartment check the previous day to assess for any potential damages, etc. This is then followed up with another check on the day of the student’s departure.

You can make a once-off payment by debit/credit card or ETF before arrival. We will email you with regards the payment once we have received your application.

When you are leaving the Tralee Town Centre Apartments, your deposit will be refunded to you in cash, given that we are satisfied with the condition of your dwelling and all bills are paid up to date.

Catering for a large number of student tenants each year, there are situations where students have to withdraw from their course due to one of many different circumstances. Sometimes the course may not be for you or you have received another option that you need to take.

In the rare occasion that this does happen, we would ask students to speak with us directly in person and with the relevant bodies in the Munster Technological University. Should all options be exhausted, and you need to depart from your course and from us, please note the following:

Withdrawing from the Tralee Town Centre Apartments will result in the forfeit of both rent and utility payments for the semester in question.

The semesters are divided between September 1st to January 14th & January 15th to May 31st.

For example, if you were to depart between September – December, this will result in the forfeit of the first semester’s rent and utility payments. The rent and utility payments for the second semester would be refunded.

Rent can be paid in one or two instalments per semester.
Once you have filled out your application, we will email you regarding this.
